A specialty store for dachshund owners, with a fit tool, name personalization and listings on every major channel

A niche store built to be found, and to get the size right first time.

Our own store: gear and original apparel for dachshunds and the people who own them. Around a hundred products, a Fit Studio that recommends sizes from a dog's measurements, name personalization at checkout, and one product feed that keeps Google, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok and eBay listings in step with the site.

A look at the interface.

Representative UI — abstracted, never a client's real data.

(01) The Challenge

A niche store lives or dies on being found and on getting the size right. Dachshunds are long and low, so most coats, harnesses and beds sold for small dogs fit them badly. The store had to answer the fit question on every product page, take personalized orders without mistakes, and show up wherever dachshund owners search, without a marketing team.

(02) The Approach

How it
works

Everything starts from one catalog. Product pages, search, structured data and the channel feed all read the same search names and specs, so a title fixed once is fixed on Google, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok and eBay. The Fit Studio turns a dog's measurements into a size on every product page, and personalized orders carry the name, thread and lettering on the order line through to fulfilment. Payments are priced and checked on the server, whichever wallet the shopper taps.

What I built

(03) Inside the build
01

Fit Studio

A dog profile (weight, back, chest, neck, couch height) is saved once and every sized product shows that dog's size with a plain verdict. Size tables per product, weight-based estimates when a measurement is missing.

02

Checkout that takes every wallet

Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, PayPal and Venmo, all priced server-side from one cart session. Coupons, tax by state, name personalization carried on the order line, and abuse controls that block card testing.

03

One feed, every channel

A single product feed with search-ready titles, fingerprinted image URLs and per-channel categories drives Google Shopping, Meta, Pinterest and TikTok Shop, plus synced eBay listings.
